Very sorry, J.J.) Whether a proposed third Trek film from the Bad Robot crew will serve as a corrective or not remains to be seen, but he acknowledges that the nerds were indeed hea

David Fincher had an incredible challenge adapting the novel Gone Girl to film, but the opening shot is a hard one to forget. Showing what should be a loving scene between a husband and wife, star Rosamund Pike’s sudden stare into the camera and Ben Affleck’s narration put audiences on edge, warning them that the story about to unfold was anything but simple. A kidnapping, lies, and murder all led the estranged couple back to eachother, forced to decide just how willing they were to keep lying for the sake of a marriage – and public perception. Having the couple end up right back where they started from may have been a hard pill for viewers to swallow, but Fincher makes the message loud and clear, ending the movie with the exact same shot he opened on – but the audience’s opinion of the woman in frame has completely chan

In recent days, Latino-Review has been dropping some big rumors about Episode VII ; first came word that Emperor Palpatine will be returning - if only as the Sith equivalent of a "force ghost" - and now the website claims to have knowledge that Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi could also be coming back as a ghostly gu

It feels as though the scene in which "the sirens" first give Sam Flynn his grid wardrobe and identity disk is choreographed somewhat like a dance. You can hear a count out for the movement of the four exotically beautiful "programs" charged with preparing Sam for the "games," a.k.a. "Disk Wars." You can also see some of the choreography from the fight scenes, which Garrett Hedlund, describes as "unlike any I have ever se

Total Recall is a simple enough story: [https://Gamedealhq.com/ Gamedealhq.Com] an everyday Earthling in the not-too-distant future, Douglas Quaid, dreams of a passionate affair with a beautiful woman on the surface of Mars. So when a business offers to implant false memories for a price, Quaid decides to make his dream a reality – at least as far as his mind is concerned. The procedure goes awry, and Quaid’s false memories disappear, revealing that he really WAS a secret agent working on Mars, and the woman from his dreams wasn’t imaginary. At least, that’s what he thinks. The movie never states whether Quaid’s return to Mars really happened, and whether he succeeded in releasing air into its atmosphere, and saving its poor population. But taking a quick glance at just how closely the film’s final scene resembles Quaid’s dream, those suspecting it was simply a fantasy have even more evidence to back up their cl

Jurassic Park was a hard adventure to beat, but director Steven Spielberg tackled the challenge anyway, removing dinosaurs from the island, and dropping them in San Diego. The added spectacle wasn’t a hit with every fan, but the director had gotten the chance to finally film many of the sequences and plot beats that he couldn’t fit in the first movie. The Lost World ended with the dinosaurs traveling back to Isla Sorna, and letting Spielberg finally take on the role of a fan – literally. Look closely at the TV reflection in the final scene, and the director can be seen with a bowl of popcorn in his lap, and a smile on his f

Look, in my own opinion, I've never been a big fan of prequels/sequels that go out of their way to shoehorn every single familiar or fan-favorite character into the new narrative. Prequel appearances by characters like C-3PO and R2D2 (oh-so-conveniently present in the saga of Anakin Skywalker as they were in the saga of Luke Skywalker) still irks me almost as much as Jar-Jar Binks. On the other hand: an appearance by Ghost Palpatine is intriguing, since we've never seen Sith ghosts onscreen before - and if we're going that route, an appearance by trust-old Obi-Wan's spirit doesn't seem like all that bad of a cameo to

Though Obi-Wan's ghost already played a role in the original trilogy (embodied by the late, great Sir Alec Guinness), as L-R correctly points out, Hayden Christensen was CGI-surgically implemented into George Lucas' redux of Return of the Jedi in replacement of original Human-Vader actor, Sebastian Shaw. In that sense, McGregor's slot in franchise is pretty secure, should the filmmakers choose to go in that direction. After all, for a younger generation of fans, McGregor IS Obi-

As a footnote to their report, L-R added that McGregor is apparently pushing for his own standalone film (Disney has since announced its intent to produce standalone Star Wars movies in between "episodes" ). Not only do we think that would be a project with potential - we've already pitched a pretty good story idea for an Obi-Wan Kenobi movie . So, needless to say, we're not opposed to that happening, eit
