Panion® Senioren Notrufknopf is a start-up founded in Munich in 2015 that specializes in the production of emergency call systems for senior citizens. It combines state-of-the-art technology to provide seniors with comprehensive protection both at home and on the move. Each emergency call system is equipped with a modern fall sensor, an emergency call button and a hands-free function. The main sales markets are Spain, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In contrast to conventional home emergency call systems, up to 10 private contact persons can be stored in the Panion emergency call bracelet, who are automatically called one after the other in the event of a fall or by pressing the SOS button.
The company launched the first emergency call system on the market in 2015.
In 2017, there was a second improved version with an integrated fall sensor
In 2021, the Pro system was launched on the market for the first time, which also has voice playback to inform the wearer about current events
By 2029, the company also plans to expand into Asian markets and open a location in the USA
