I completed my Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Glasgow, graduating with Honors and at the top of my class. Throughout my academic career, I consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, earning multiple distinctions and academic recognitions. My early education included a Certificate of Higher Education with Distinction in Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Studies, which laid a strong scientific foundation for my clinical training.
During my studies and clinical training, I pursued extensive hands-on experience across multiple dental disciplines, including oral surgery, periodontics, restorative dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. I completed clinical placements and outreach programs at Dumfries Dental Outreach Centre, Coatbridge Outreach Centre, Springburn Health Centre, Bridgeton Health Centre, and Glasgow Dental Hospital, where I treated a wide range of patients and managed complex clinical cases.
My clinical experience includes over 105 dental extractions, management of surgical suturing techniques, implant placement training, periodontal therapies, restorative procedures exceeding 200 fillings, crown and bridge work, root canal treatments, denture fabrication, and advanced diagnostic imaging. I have also gained experience in oral maxillofacial procedures, biopsies, and shadowed complex surgical cases.
Following my graduation, I further advanced my clinical expertise by completing a comprehensive diploma and professional fellowship in aesthetic and restorative dentistry through the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry, accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. This advanced training strengthened my skills in aesthetic dentistry, restorative procedures, implantology, and evidence-based clinical practice.
In parallel, I actively participated in professional workshops and advanced training programs, including orthodontic bracket positioning, interproximal reduction, posterior and immediate implant placement, advanced anterior composites and veneer techniques, medical emergency management in dentistry, and certified basic life support training accredited by the American Heart Association.
My academic and professional achievements include graduating with Honors from a top-ranked university for five consecutive years, being nominated for the Barbers Prize, publishing in the Book of Abstracts, winning the BDSA Research Summit Award, and earning over 150 CME and CPD credits accredited by the Kuwait Dental Association. I have also volunteered in peer-assisted learning and mentorship programs, contributing to the academic development of fellow students and junior colleagues.
I have had the privilege of shadowing clinical operations in some of the largest and most advanced dental centers, including Asnan Tower and Smile Design, gaining valuable exposure to high-volume clinical workflows and advanced patient care systems.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, I maintain a strong commitment to lifelong learning, professional integrity, and clinical mastery. My philosophy is rooted in discipline, precision, and continuous improvement, with the goal of delivering the highest standard of dental care while contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the profession.
My journey reflects a dedication to excellence, shaped by strong family values, academic rigor, and relentless pursuit of professional growth.
