Federico Malatesta
Federico Malatesta (born April 5, 1970) is an Italian transformational and executive coach, entrepreneur, and author. He is the founder of FM Transformational Coaching™, co-owner of The Artha Ranch, and the breeder behind Absaroka Horses™. Malatesta is known for his expertise in peak performance, brain science, and leadership development, and has worked extensively in both corporate and wellness environments across Europe and the United States.

Early Life and Education
Malatesta was born in Rome, Italy. He holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and completed postgraduate and executive education in Diplomacy, International Economics, International Relations, Finance at the London Business School, and Leadership Development.
Career
Prior to his transition into coaching, Malatesta spent nearly 15 years in the oil and gas sector. In his final corporate role, he served as Chief Investment Officer for a major oil and gas company, where he managed a capital investment portfolio worth $40 billion.
Malatesta is a certified Transformational, Executive, and EQUUS® coach. He is also a licensed and certified New Life Story® Wellness coach, specializing in peak performance training and brain science. In addition, he is a certified independent assessor for the HOGAN® Personality & Executive Assessments and the LEAD NOW! Executive Self-Assessment and 360 Assessment. He is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
FM Transformational Coaching and The Artha Ranch
Malatesta co-founded FM Transformational Coaching™, a coaching practice focused on leadership, performance, and personal development. Along with his wife Heli, he co-owns The Artha Ranch, located in Texas, USA. The ranch serves as a creative and healing retreat offering programs in coaching, yoga, and natural skincare.
Absaroka Horses™
In addition to coaching, Malatesta breeds and raises performance reined cow horses under the brand Absaroka Horses™, continuing a family tradition of equestrian passion and excellence.
Authorship and Academia
Malatesta is the author of two books: Trading on Line and Oil and Europe[1]. He also contributed a chapter to the financial textbook Practical Guide to Economics and developed an online financial course, both published by Sole 24 Ore, Italy's leading financial newspaper. He has taught over 1,000 students in courses on financial decision-making and delivered a special finance session at the TNK-BP INSEAD MBA program.
Personal Life
Malatesta relocated to the United States in 2016 and currently resides in Texas with his wife Heli. Together, they manage multiple ventures through The Artha Ranch, combining their interests in coaching, wellness, and sustainable living.
