Alexandra Daly is British business executive. She is the Founder and CEO of AA Advisors and the Chair of the Council of Investing in Female Entrepreneurs, an initiative spun out of the Alison Rose (banker) Review of Female Entrepreneurship.[1] [2]
Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs
Alexandra is Chair of The Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs, an initiative spun out of the Alison Rose Review of Female Entrepreneurship and commissioned by the UK Treasury.[3] Conducted by Alison Rose, now CEO of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, the Rose Review shed light on the barriers faced by women starting and growing businesses and identified ways of unlocking this untapped talent.[4]
As Chair of the council, Alexandra works alongside members drawn from the finance, investor and business communities, to implement the recommendations set out by the Rose Review.[5]
Mentorship
Alexandra is a strong advocate of mentorship, especially for female entrepreneurs, after she greatly benefitted from the support of her own mentor.[6] She now has five mentees. [7]
